I'm trying to wire up an electronic pinto Dizzy, there are 3 wires, 1 purple 1 yellow and a black, the back i assume is earth as it goes to the dizzy body, what do i connect the other 2 too?
its the type shown in the pic below on the left.

They go off to the ignition module as far as I am aware. At least I hope that's where they go 'cos I'm close to fitting my engine and wiring it in and I have a Pinto with the same dizzy

could you post a picture of the ignition module for me, i dont have one.

Heres a pic. Dizzy has two wires and an earth going to the plug but the earth wire is not used. Obviously earths through the engine. Pretty sure people like Bestek can still supply all the bits. There are some inductive amps on ebay at about £45.
