I think so, budget cars like Great British Sports Cars (Robin Hood) supply them in thier kits.

No, all contactable external surfaces above the floorline.

Nope - all over the car is tested. Plenty of people have failed on radius of the rear reflectors!!

Silly isnt it!! Dont want to be cutting anyone when reversing over them now do we!!

Even to the point that you have to change the hex bolt on the number plate light to a smooth domed screw. Barry
