Triumph wiring

Can anyone help me find a triumph dolomite sprint wiring diagram?

Or more specifically the instrument wiring and colour coding?

Or even more specifically;
I've got a full set of dolomite sprint instruments still on their dashboard, wired up to the original multi-pin connector plug. I've also got the original wiring loom that connects to it. I want to use the original loom wiring.

A wiring diagram would be a great help!

Dave do you really want to use the old loom? Generally they contain excessive wires. I used all Dolomite Sprint Instruments + a capillary oil pressure gauge.

I stripped down the Triumph loom and remade the dash loom using new connectors:

I checked the whole loom both in and out of the car before using loom wrapping tape...

From the donor loom and the dash loom I was left with this pile of crap:

As for the wiring diagram, can't help but you can trace it out yourself using the instrument connections if they're still attached.

Cheers

JC,

Thanks. And you did a very nice job.

However I am bone idle, and yes, I do want to reuse the loom as it is , but only the instrument bit (if it works).

Actually I'm not rebuilding my the whole electrical system, only changing my dashboard gauges. So, since the wiring on these triumph instruments looks good all the way to the plug connector I thought I'd try to re-use that bit without unwrapping it, if possible, plus the connector and attached wires off the old loom and splice back into my loom at that point.

A wiring diagram would be a great help. But only because I want to do it quick.

I'd much rather be driving than fiddling with wiring at this time of year.

thanks and regards
Dave
