Lost power, checked fuses and found that one of the fuses had melted but not blown. Changed fuse now ok but will this happen again. Also what would have caused it.

wasnt a "blackspur" fuse from their multipacks was it?

I replaced a couple that did this on mine as it just didn't feel safe to have fuses that do that and I raided a few of our scrap cars and put more OEM sturdy looking ones in to replace

I guess if the fuse bases are pretty mucky it could generate some heat that would cause this
bit of wet n dry and wd40 / ACF50 or similar and a pry/tweak with a screwdriver should help clean the contacts and ensure they have a good grip on the fuse blades

I havent checked mine recently...so will do that tomorrow, thanks for reminding me :-)

15 amp and it is feeding my wideband

is it also feeding the heater for your lambda ?

usually if the fuse has melted its due to the fact that its been subjected to just over its rating (15.5A maybe) for a long period of time.

just enough to get warm, but not enough to blow it if you get me drift ?
