morning everybody,

now my car is back on the road with its new engine ive got a couple of problems as you do with a new instlation.

now the problem i have is that when i go to turn the engine off it runs on till the hp fuel pump stops running, can be from a second up to 3,
now i have a blocking diode in the alternator warning light so its no that.

now i think i have worked out that it only does it when the fan is running!!

but i dont know why having the fan running is causing the engine to run on and i dont know where to start looking to fix the problem.

help please

The fan running will be acting as an alternator whilst it spins down...

Another diode on the fan then!

Or wire a relay in for the fan?

the fan is on a relay, can you get big diodes?
