Hi,

Brought an immobiliser this week to fit on my Avon ready for the IVA test but it did not come with a wiring diagram. do any of you know which wires go where?

This is what I think at present: -

Red is 12v live
Orange is ignition live
2 No.Green are earth
Blue is starter cut out
White is fuel pump

If the above is correct then I still have the following : -

Yellow

Any help would be most appreciated.

here are the instuctions they email them to you

Excel Cable Identification Connection point on the Vehicle
RED - Permanent +12 Volt Feed Using your voltmeter identify a
permanent +12 Volt feed.
ORANGE - Ignition/Accessory
Switch Feed (prevents the
immobiliser from arming)
Using your voltmeter identify an
Ignition switch feed. If the vehicle’s
ignition switch has an accessory
position ensure that the selected
connection point is +12v when the
Ignition switch is in the accessory
position.
GREEN - Ground Connection Connect to a good vehicle earth point.
The Excel system has two earth
wires. It is very important that these
two earth wires are connected to two
separate earth points - Do Not
Connect to the Same Earth Point
To Save Time
BLUE Starter motor isolating circuit (18A
relay used for this circuit)
WHITE 2nd isolating circuit (18A relay used
for this circuit). This circuit must be
live during cranking and engine
running.
YELLOW Connect to the drivers door pin
switch.

Yellow is door switch.

Short it to earth to make the immob look for transponders.

I've stuck a momentary switch in for mine (actually a doorbell switch until I get something better)

Quick thank you for the info in this thread. Didn't know what to do with the all important door switch, matching push button to my horn button now on its way for the pricely sum of £1.99
