Bloody lights!! Inspiration needed
franky - 24/6/10 at 06:18 PM

Getting headaches trying to find a whole set of lights!

I quite like the hella mix and match ones from SVC but there not exactly locost at about £155 at set and with no pods so i'm not sure how they mount(normal indicators with LED brake tail outers as it saves sorting resistors etc!)

Has anyone used a set of the above with pics?

However I also would like the landrover 3" style ones, 3 per wing in a row but I think it could look a little too busy?

Fronts I'm quite keen on the black oval ones for some reason.

Can anyone provide me some inspiration?

I recently bought soem new rear light clusters from CBS for £35/pair iirc and I'm sure they do some nice smallish h/lights for sensible money too. Then you just need front indicators (from a bike) and repeaters.

I got a set of the 95mm ones that SVC sell - I wasn't planning to have any pods as such, just cut a hole in the wing and fit them in (sound easy when you say it quick - not fitted yet though )

1 pait of clear indicators
1 pair of stop/tails
1 fog
1 reverse
@ £25ish per pair, so £75 all in I think (I got them at stonleigh so I don't remember exactly)

iiyama has similar ones on his dax (all be it with different style of lense to mine)

If you use a flasher designed for LED's you don't need to muck around with resistors - which are an expensive way to save a couple of quid.

Have a look at my photo link, you will get an idea about the rear lamps etc & whether you like them, they are landrover lamps, Dennis.

I can't remember the site, but they were even cheaper somewhere else. Bound to find something not too pricey if you look.
