help needed to ID wires from Ignition Barrel

i need some help to ID what and where these wires go. the Ignition Barrel is from a early ford sierra' see pic attached

I haven't seen a Sierra barrel like that one. They have black/blue, black/yellow and red on all the ones I've seen. Red is permanent live, black/yellow is live in the first position and black/blue is to the starter solenoid in the momentary switched position. You should be able to work out what yours do with a multi meter.

The yellow one is for the auxilary circuits, Red is, (as said), permanent live from the battery, One is to the starter, and the other is ignition on going, (in the Sierra), to the possative splice, (feeds all sorts of goodies). Can't say which on yours as your colours are different to mine, :-( HTH Ray
