Tacho Wiring MS & Digidash
Bumble - 12/7/10 at 09:21 AM

Hi all,
I now have pretty much everthing working on the car but can't get the ETB Digidash Lite to read RPM from the MS ECU. It's an Extra EFI MS1 V3.0 with Tacho Output.
Any ideas??
Cheers,
Matt

Is the RTB tach input designed for ECU or coil?

Snuggs.......If it works then I'll take one. I have a single Tacho output from the MS and a single input to the Digidash. So in my case how does it connect up and do you know if it works with the ETB Digidash lite??
Cheers,
Matt

It works by taking a feed from the -ve of each coil. eg A standard 4cyl coil pack has 2 -ve connections.

Then another wire from the unit feeds to the tacho input.

The ones I make will do 4, 6 and 8 cyl setups. Just cut off and tape up the spare wires.

I use one of these on my V8 that has Megasquirt/EDIS8 and 2 Ford coil packs.
