Megasquirt Question
MakeEverything - 23/7/10 at 09:53 PM

Hi All,

Ive redrawn the megasquirt drawing to suit my installation and make things simpler to understand with the EDIS connection etc.

Can someone tell me about the connection of the injectors please? Injectors 1&2 connect to terminals 32 and 33, but is this a common signal to both injectors, or separate signals from each? Same with injectors 3&4.

Injectors have bank 1 and bank 2. But there are 4 wires, bank one is a common connection as is bank 2, but they all come out on 4 pins of the connector.

Bank 1 is normally connected to cyl 1 and 4, and bank 2 to 2 and 3. Though i doesnt matter if they are running batch fire/simultaneous.

OK, Thanks (again!). So the megasquirt connections share the load of two injectors over two terminals, but effectively short out?

Yes the 2 pins for bank 1 are connected together inside the ecu, as are the 2 pins for bank 2.
