I've previously fiddled with S2000 and Lotus clocks, but the ones I had were can-bus and were virtually impossible for a numpty like me to get going in a kit-car!

Does anyone know of any zappy OEM units (car or bike) that are easy to use on a kit?

Elise/VX220
(early elise stack dials are best as they dont have complicated collant signals)

I used a VX220 unit which meant the collant required a pulse signal so never worked for me, but everying thing esle was fine.
You can get S1 elise dials that are for the Kseries so nice and simple

s2000 clocks are easy with f20c motor and aem ecu (plug and play) the only things to modify are a coolant temp kit from modifry and a yellow jacket speedo healer from modifry

Cheers Steve... any electrical boffins out there who can offer an opinion on whether the Honda SP1 / SP2 clocks could be used on a kit?

I can get my hands on one at a decent price and it comes with the connector harness... no sensors though
