How many relays are you using??

As above, I have 6!!!

dipped beam,
High beam,
Horn,
Ignition,
Reverse switch(through neutral light)
Sarter button (through oil pressure light)


+1...fan relay...=7
Idiot proof.....I hope....does this sound excessive?? oh, by the way, it's a busa.

i have 7 as well

and 2 for the ecu

Ignition (to the engine loom)
Ignition auxillary (all the stuff thats not switched via relay plus feed for relay triggers)
Dip beam
Main beam
Horn
Wipers
Fan heater
Flasher
Aux2 (12v sockets)

plus the relays in the bike loom

So that anything heavy current does not go through a switch or if the supply needs switching from the ECU:-

1. Headlights main beam
2. Headlights Dip beam
3. Side Lights.. No real need....
4. Fuel Pump
5. ECU
6. Starter Solenoid
7. Indicators (uses a socket)
8. Engine Fan
9. Ignition relay (100 A to Fuse Box)

Premier universal Sierra based loom used to have 4 (Main beam, dip beam, flasher and delay for the wipers), has 1 more now for the rear fog light so it lights as per IVA requirements.
