as some of you know im getting stuck with my zzr1100 starting issues.

im working on earths and makign sure all the wires are sorted right.

in the diagram you see these but i dont know what they mean???

does it mean i should wire to the negative of the battery (earth) or something else.

i guess its ground or earth but i maybe wrong.

would i wire these to the chassis ? is that ok or do i wire to the battery direct.

my battery will be wired to the chassis anyway but i havent got a battery at the moment.

just using jump leads to my car.

The one on the right is an earth.

The other ??????????????

The one on the right is earth (or it could be a rake). Never seen the one on the left could be an earth junction.
The cars chassis is earthed so you'd connect to it, you'll also need an earth strap between engine and chassis.

The one on the right is defo a rake, I have seen one of those before.

The one on the left is what happens to your head if sombody rakes it.

(both earths I recon)
