Does anyone know if an old points type dizzy from an RS2000 will fit a later seirra block (1987)?

Both standard pinto blocks and interchangeable dizzys. Don't know how good the advance curve will be for your engine. And going back to points is a return to the dark ages but it is simple.
I ran for a while with a points dizzy off a 2.0 pinto capri. Worked and fitted fine.
