Source of Ford coilpack HT connectors
scudderfish - 6/2/11 at 04:12 PM

I want to make up my own spark leads. I'm after a source of the clip on connectors to Mk 1 Ford coilpacks like the ones here http://www.megasquirt-v8.co.uk/generic_parts.php. £14 is a reasonable price, but the £10 P+P makes me wince. I don't want to take the plugs off my current leads as I've tried it once, didn't get very far, and the thought of doing it 8 times over is unappealing. Any ideas?

Regards,
Dave

I was looking for these a while ago.

Last time i bought the single NGK heads, was from a hardware shop in Borehamwood, near the train station. I dont even think the local motor factors do them any more.

Here i think

Though i seemed to remember it closer to the station than that.

I dropped www.megasquirt-v8.co.uk an email saying I thought the P+P was too much, and I got a message back giving me a significant discount on it If you don't ask, you don't get.

Excellent, have you ordered yet?

Yep, ordered before I posted. Now to get some 7-8mm lead (about 8m to allow for cock up), and some sparkplug connectors (most auto electric websites seem to do these).
