The peugeot V6 we picked up to go in Owelly's magenta, does not want to spark into life.
Its highly likely that this is due to the ecu being locked.
Does anyone on here know anyone who can unlock it?
I know there are loads of firms out there that can do it for £100, but we don;t want to pay that. It would be cheaper to get a second hand ecu,
decode box, key and chip.
I would have thought £100 was cheap compared with a second ECU & key.
Certainly cheaper than Megasquirt, Omex et al.
Better to send the ecu away to get neutered, Peugeots have a history of the ecu locking out and not recognising the disarm code.
I am locked out of my spare Saab ecu -
and the way you get back into it, is by soldering bdm headers into one of the boards, then use a serial /usb connector.
try the ecuproject
It depends whats inside the Pug ecu, and whether its been broken into by anyone before (likely)
