If you do mod the Vicky Green loom make sure you do this alteration or check its there - Fog lights can only switch on with full or dipped beam and must not work on side lights.

I'm building a velocity which I bought of here as an unfinished project a while ago. One of the major jobs which needed doing was the wiring.
Currently the car has a vicki green loom and everything bar the lights has been wired. Unfortunately I am completely stumped by the lights, mainly I
think because I'm starting in the middle of someone else's work and am struggling to trace what has been done any even where some of the
wires go. The wiring diagram is also no help. I'm not really sure what to do with it now. The ideas i have had is to either pay somebody to come
in to sort it. (anyone know anyone in derby? And have an idea of cost?) Pull it all out and start from scratch with a premier loom, which seem to be
much more user-friendly than the vicki green or to leave what is done and working in place, pull the rest of it out and do the lights from scratch,
following the circuits on westfield world.. Anyone have any suggestions? Or happen to be local and fancy lending a hand..
I dont know much about the VG loom as I used Premier...
but there's bound to be a bunch of stuff about it on the Rhocar website. And people there will be able to help you too I expect as they'll
know lots about it.
Is there no proper wiring diagram? I'm sure I've seen one knocking around for download!

I've got a Premier Looms one in my car and it does come with a very clear wiring diagram, you might be better biting the bullet and starting from scratch

Alan's loom is very straight forward and also has the fog light wiring modification built in now so meets the IVA requirements.

I have just emailed Alan asking if it would be possible for him to supply just a lighting loom as I gather he makes them to order anyway.. rather than selling an off the shelf item. If he can I can leave everything that works and that I am sure is right place. It would.save me the pain of pulling it all out. Hasanyone had.experience of paying an auto electrician to carry work out? I'm looking at over 100 quid for a loom and I bet it would only be half a day or a days work for them?..
