My fuel gauge is very indecisive with how much fuel i have in the tank, chops and changes particualrly after you have been round a corner. Any ideas how to get the right fuel level all the time??

Long narrow tank across the car = lots of surge... and the fuel sender float goes up and down with it. Baffled tank will help as will having the sender as near the center line as possible or only read it when stationary or traveling in a strieght line.

I think my gauge is also faulty. I put £30s worth in and it said I only had 1/3 of a tank...
