my speedo stopped working,

started flickering up and down before it died.

i suspected broken cable.

unscrewed it off the back of the speedo cluster and this is what i found.

any help would be great..

Must have popped out at the gearbox end and the drive cable has dropped down a bit or if you're really unlucky slipped out completely.
