I would like to use the complete dashboard from a 1999 fiesta. Question is will i have problems getting a true reading on the speedo if its linked to a type 9 box

You will be very lucky if the output of the type 9 speedo matches the Fiesta speedo! Not even sure speedo is cable driven, lots of later models use electronic feed. Suspect you will need speedo recalibrated (if poss) or go for aftermarket one.
