could these be used to provide donor rear lights?

would work out expensive...
towsure (they have a website) sell the lights individualy and are pretty cheap.

Cheers

They only cost £10 a pair and came with bulbs too,may even have bee less i'll have to check.

Most camping and caravan centres sell them and the most i've seen them for is £8 a side,i think ebay sell complete trailer boards this would give you a possible few metres of rear lighting loom too.

just remember the reflectors are no good, being triangular for trailers. the reason i didnt use a lighting board was that there were so few lights on it. i wanted the full range, 2 reverse and 2 fog etc.

The make of the ones i used were "Equipe" and all versions were E marked.

Allways best to check though as syd said,i've been caught out on some nose cone indicators before.

Cheap but functional, ask the question for E mark and away you go.
They are not to everyones taste but they get you going

I've just fitted two new ones to my trailer for the grand sum of £6.06. They need a reflector as well as they don't have one built in but they are only a quid each. I fetched a trailer board for a trailer I built and it was only £11 but the individual lights are better quality. Artic trailer lights are good and don't cost a lot more.

i'll drink to that bob, theres a lot to be said for cheap solutions that will do just fine. i ended up getting lashed and spending nearly £80 inc delivery on my back lights...
