I cannot get the fuel sender readings to show the required outputs on the display.
I have done the voltage potential divider as said in this post

But when I generate an equation from a graph
I enter the following figures which should give me the outputs in litres
voltage 0.18 output 50
voltage 1.17 output 37
voltage 1.86 output 25
voltage 2.41 output 12.5 ( this is the current fuel level ( ish)
voltage 2.54 output 0
However when I generate the equation and upload it to the dash the output figures are crap I expect to see 12.5 litrs but see something else . in fact
its always the last number of the equation not the same as BUT LIKE like the one in this table (156.79)

How have you arrived at your figures ? Are you taking a separate feed with pull up resistor from the reference 5v?

Running through your calculations using this potential divider calculator http://www.random-science-tools.com/electronics/divider.htm suggests your
12.5L value should be 2.14V not 2.41V. 2.41V would be around 4L not 12.5 if the curve was the same through out.

We pulled out the sender from the tank and read the voltage with a metere at the 4 positions. empty 1/4 1/2 3/4 and full. yes I have a 330 ohm pull up
resistor in place. its really strange as I do understand the theory but its just lacking something somewhere.
The figures are a guess ish at different float levels held by hand but the voltages are real. Should I measure the resistances at the voltages and
divide it into 4
i.e. empty 1/4 1/2 3/4 and full across the 300 ohm range and apply the voltage for each setting?

If you don't include the 12.5L value do you get a sensible curve/equation and then reading?
Ahh OK....the 2.41 is a typo and not what you entered.
Have you connected up to the DASH2 with the lite monitor on a laptop and seen the actual voltage you are getting? Might be worth taking the sender
out and wiring it to the DASH2 and using the actual voltages you see on the Lite Monitor. The proper way to do it would be to empty the tank and fill
in 5L intervals while using the Lite Monitor to measure voltage.

not used the lite monitor is it part of the dash software or do you need to download it.
Might have to empty the tank perhaps then.
he also has the can bus wiring for the ecu to dash and god knows how the hell I'm going to do that as it looks total double dutch to me LOL
Lite Monitor is part of the software download package from Race Technology. The ECU connection is easy in comparison.
I'd check with the Lite Monitor what the DASH2 is actually seeing on that channel and then either guess the other values or drain the tank.

Setup the S60 as shown here

Setup the DASH2 using the RT software and select the ECU inputs (input scaling/5.ECU inputs) in the relevant screens (RPM, Water Temp etc).
Edit the name if you want to and then config up the specific Display Screens to show the relevant ECU data. The S60 will display

Okay so fuel is now working OK add scaled. It was a loose connector 1 which was losing signal to analogue 4.
As for the Can I must be doing something wrong.
As you say the screen has ecu temps on it BUT whenever i select the water temp from the ecu and update the dash there is nothing there. It shows on
the screen on the pc ( just as yours does ) but nothing actually on the dash.
I still have to do the oil pressure setup ( waiting for a sender to come) with the equation ( which I now know I was doing Ok all along).
but the canbus thing is just not working right. perhaps I need to change settings in the ecu ( rs232 streaming? or can bus streaming?)
ETA I found this perhaps it's what needs to be done to the ecu software do you think??

You need to config the S60 and turn on it's logging as shown on the top of this sheet

Once you have done that you should see data. Again check with the Lite monitor to see if you get anything.
When I was setting mine up this was very useful for the non-ECU sensors.
