The fuel sender float supplied with the kit I'm building doesn't fit in the tank - one way it hits the end wall, the other direction it hits
a baffle. So, I figured I'd install a dip tube type sender.
The problem is, the tank has a plate fitted with holes for 6*m5 @ 60.4mm pcd. The only tube senders I can find are either 1 1/4" bsp threaded,
or 5*m5 @ 54mm pcd.
Does anyone know of a tube sender with this fitting? Or an easy way to adapt it?

not sure i understand but it sounds like you need some kind of adapter plate which shouldn't be too hard to make. Can you put a photo up?
Make an ali plate up with holes for the tank on their pcd and turn the plate and drill and tap your other holes in between. et voila
If you don't have the required tools/inclination I could make you an adapter plate for either threaded or bolted fitting
EDIT just noticed one is 6 hole and the other is 5. Could probably still fix something up though

I don't think shortening it will work very well, as it will then only read the top of the tank (it's quite a tall tank). Similarly, I
reckon I can bend it into a shape but then same problem with bottom of the tank.
Now, the adapter plate is what I was thinking (or just re-drilling/taping the plate on the top of the tank).... but I tried drawing it in cad, and it
doesn't work as the holes overlap.
So, the easiest solution I can think of is to make up two adapter plates: one from 6*m5@60.4 to 6*m5 @ 80 (80 is just an example) and then one to go
on top from 80 -> 54.
I should be able to knock these up myself, but thanks for the offer Liam.
