Earth for ETB water sensor
JeffJeffers - 20/11/11 at 03:31 PM

I have bought a water temp sensor from ETB For my zetec engine. The sensor only has 1 terminal on it so the it earths through the body of the sensor. The Zetec has a plastic thermostat housing. So what is the best way to earth the sensor?

Ive cut a little V groove on one of the hex flats and solderd an earth on. Ive then put a ring terminal under one of the three stat mounting bolts.

Edit just dont get it to hot !

Looks like a dash board gauge sensor to me, not an EFI one

He'd be a bit stuck if he bought an EFI sensor when it's going to be wired to an ETB gauge!

Doh

Should have read the post, in which case use an EFI sender
