hi i have a 2008 r1 with a kit generator and a 2009 cbr1000rr regulator am i right in thinking they should work together? does it matter which was round the 3 wires go from the generator?

No reason why it wont work, 3 genny wires can be connected any way round just make sure you get the power and earth right

ok checked the wiring all ok. strange thing is the battery is a little low but starts the car and doesnt charge, if i put jump leads on it it charges! how will the low battery voltage stop it from charging?
