I'm attempting to keep to all standard wiring colours throughout the car, and so far I have managed it. But I am stuck to what color I should
used for the coil 12v feed?
It will be fed from its own switched live fuse through the master cut-off switch then onto the coil. It is a standard zetec wasted spark coil.
Any ideas?

Black?
White or white/yellow.....

That's a great link, thanks!
Luckily I have 2 old mini looms i'm chopping lumps out of so getting small qty's of proper colored wire is proving to be rather nice touch
to the build.
I've used that for my Elan! But using one colour and marking the cables is so much easier!!!

Not if the markings come off or you have to fault find in the middle of a clump of same coloured cables

But it is cheaper
I also like the sense of achievement/knowledge that its done 'right'
In cars I have put together in the past, its been any old colour wire found in the box. But on this build it has been proper wiring, proper fixings
and proper repairs etc... Doesn't need to be expensive with a bit of research and thought
The other thing I'm very keen on is using proper connectors, no cheapo insulate crimps anywhere. Also where possible getting hold of new sensor
connectors to there is no solder splices into donor vehicle wiring.
