Race technology dash 2 sensors again!

Hi

Done a search and found some useful stuff on voltages and resistors etc but can anyone share their calculations for migrating from the stock ETB digidash sensors?

I have values from the sensors using the 5v reference and 910ohmn resistors but the numbers are all over the place.

Looking for oil pressure, oil temp and fuel as the rest are passed over canbus.

Thanks
Paul

under this sub heading
Is there a Spreadsheet I can use for easy calibration and pasting into the DASH2 software?

you download file named

vdo_sensors.xls

Cheers. Missed the spreadsheet

Will give it a whirl

Thanks

need a little help with mine,

this is my multimeter, what setting is it for ohms as there seems to be afew?

and im doing fuel level i presume i just take a reading at full and at empty and it sort the rest out

this is the sender

Depends how accurate you want the reading. I put in 2 litres at a time and took readings up to bout 40 or so litres. The more readngs you get the more accurate the readings do not tend to plot a straight line either. The shape of the fuel tank also adds to the mix. Here's the graph of mine

I have a dip tube sender which reads 0 when there is still 5 litres left rather than set at 5 I've set at 0 so I have 5 litres in reserve so to speak I'll take one more reading when the tank is full just to make it a little more accurate.

A right PITA but its best to get it right. All the best with it

Well I got a volt reading to work from, will test with fuel at later date but seems ok for now

Just got to sort boost through Omex as its not working right!
