where can I get a kit to install on my car?
sensor and dash gauge if possible?
ebay isn't throwing up many suggestions.
there are a few 1sec sample gauges kicking about but they look like external air temp jobs.
i can tap a hole just before plenum for the sensor.
thanks
My Vapor dash has a temp sensor for ambient (under dash) and an engine temp sensor, that could be wired into the intake and give you a reading.
However WHY? it provides no useful information for you, cooler is better for intake temperatures and it will be what it is. There is almost nothing
you can do to alter it and if your cars tuned correctly (or has an engine management system) it will not need altering as the fuelling will be already
optimal.
If you need to reduce intake temps (because you have a turbo for instance) use an intercooler, you can use them with out fitting a turbo but for
almost no gain in performance if your not using a pressurised induction.
There are a couple on ebay that read up to 70c
If you have a production car ECU with OBD you can read inlet air temperaure at the manifold via OBD2

I'm running an eaton m45 through an intercooler but its gonna be spinning over the rated limit.
just wanna monitor the inlet charge temps up the revs
thanks for the links
