Have a look at Citroen or Peugeot header tanks

Forgot to add its for a water injection tank so only holds about 4 litres, just want something simple that will bring on a light on the dash

probes then would be best....

all the more industrial relays i use are 24volt plus which wont be much use to you

A lot of people fit them to MGF's and such like, coolant alarm.

If you search ebay you will find various cheap industrial float switches from Hong Kong, Maplin and RS components will also sell them at a price.

one of the top two options.
some bmws have a switch similar to the plastic ones in some radiators. couldn't say which models. also washer bottles have sensors too. so many options
