where is the best place to tap an oil pressure sensor on the busa and what size/thread is it? i have found a solid state sensor but not sure if thread is ok

You can put it where the bike's oil pressure switch normally goes, 1/8"NPTF I think. But use a remote hose. An alternative is removing one of the oil gallery plugs but dunno what thread they are.

You can put a T piece where the original oil pressure switch is. Or you can remove the oil galery plug (allen head blanking plug) which is just above the pressure switch and fit an M16 adapter. I fitted my oil temp sensor to the oil gallery and the pressure capilary to a T piece between the original switch. I got all my fittings from a local hydraulics place for a few quid, all the adapters on the web seem very overpriced. I took the blanking plug and original switch into the shop so he could match it all up and make sure i got the right bits.

my oil temp sender is in the dry sump tank but i would have thought the oil gallery would be a better location.cheers
