Sierra Hazard Wiring

I have wired Sierra hazard warning switch on top of steering column and all is flashing ok. I believe that it should light up when side lights are on. Can someone help with a simple diagram or explain how this is done. Thanks

mine does not light up unless the hazards are on. Then it just flashes.

Thanks but I thought that it had to be luminated when lights are on for IVA

IVA manual does say it needs to illuminate with lights on though? Is it ok as it is from the donor andnon the donor it doesn't illumnate or does whatever switch you use not have to illuminate?
