Hi,

I'm running a Honda CBR 1000 1980 carbed engine in my Locost.


When running it can run rough and almost "stutter"

Now under normal circumstances I would say that it needs time on the rollers and tweaking!

But and a big but when the stuttering happens the rev counter is all over the place and jumping to different revs and the shift lights on the gauges are flashing on and off

Then sometimes it will be fine.

Am I along the right lines thinking that it could be the earthing is playing up and has a fault?

Sounds electrical to me, intermittent short,break or bad earth.

Definately check ALL earths first!
