Evening all,
I have come to the stage of my build were I am wiring the stalks up to my loom, I still have the connectors with a few inches of cable still attached
to them, however I am wondering if it would be possible to extract the current female bullet connectors and crimp on some new ends and re-use the
connectors?
The reason I am looking to do this is I am wanting a tidier setup than soldering/crimping the cables to the ford cables.
I know there are extraction tools out there but I can't find one that I think I could use for it, or if it is even possible to re-use the
connectors, if not then I will just bite the bullet (no pun intended ) and solder my loom to the connector cables.
Most can be removed with tiny flat blade screwdriver, its just a matter of poking the right places.... Oo err.
Its a long time since I looked at one but arnt they round pins ?
These are handy but I doubt you will find new pins. Soldered and heat shrink and they will look fine. The heat shrink crimps are nice but a little
bulkier for multi plugs.
You can aslo use crimped connectors and do a neat job
