I'm wanting to make a kart starter for my 100cc kart but need a small ish starter motor that turns clockwise, have seen one made with a oldish
Toyota one so was thinking of may be a yaris? Is there any others?
Also will need to be open ended

Some of the honda engines are 'backwards' arnt they?
Can't you just swap the earth and live around and make it go the other way.

I thought that but tried it on a spare ford cross flow starter and rotated same way what ever way I had it connected

I think even if it could spin the other way, the clutch and/or engagement mechanism wouldn't work.
Starter motors are series motors, ie the armature windings are in series with the field coils. Only way to change the rotation is change the polarity of internal connection between field coils and brush gear and so as the current travels in the reverse direction through the field coil but not the armature. This is not really possible on modern starter motors which have aluminium alloy field coils.
