Tiger wiring loom
nilocp - 10/11/13 at 05:15 PM

I have just got a Tiger wiring loom and it is for VW indicator stalks.
Which car do the donor bits from, and will they fit on a Sierra column.

Thanks

Colin

Thanks, can they be fitted to the Sierra column?

Depends on which Tiger model the loom was intended for. Some models use switch gear & steering column from the Golf, others use switch gear and Column from the Sierra. The majority of Tigers models were Sierra based. I would have thought you could adapt the loom to wire it up to Ford switches if thats what you have. I`ve just adapted an old Escort mk1 loom to work with Triumph Dolomite gauges etc.

You can rewire it to fit the seirra column. The wiring diagram for the Tiger r6 loom is in the link below. I think this will be the same for all tiger looms.

Femster that was really useful. Unfortunately it is not the loom I have, but it has given me some clues.

Many thanks
