I am at the stage of trying to get the standard Toyota Corolla wiring loom to fit and work in my car. I have a problem just now, getting any power to
the headlights and indicators (that is as far as i have got). I have the engine and ECU side of things all sorted and hoped that the remainder would
be straightforward.
Being a mechanical type of person, i have no end of problems trying to understand the Haynes wiring diagrams and i was hoping that somone may know
where there may be easier to understand wiring diagrams. There just seems to be a mass of fuses and relays that are all dependant on each other, most
of which are unidentifiable in the diagrams........for me anyway.
Would it be worth making a simplified loom for these type of things, as the Corolla has electronic windows, seats, mirrors, sunroof..........etc etc
etc
Any help appreciated.
I designed mine from scratch - but I do have 30+ years experience in things electrical!
Alternatively, people speak very highly of the Premier Wiring loom - costs not much more than the price of the wire, is fully colour-coded, and uses
the best quality wires with thin insulation.

My Premier Wiring Sierra loom arrived yesterday.
I'm really impressed with it. All the connectors are on there plus there's documentation on how to put it all together etc.
Buying that much wire new would cost as much if you used proper colours as you'd need so many. There's about 1/3 of the weight of the Sierra
loom there too.
Well chuffed,
James
I bought a Sierra loom for £5 and used it to simply the wires. Made my own cut down loom using the Sierra Haynes manual. Wasn't easy, but everything works well
i'll recommend Premier too- great instructions and very easy to fit. a brilliant time saver or a godsend for those not electrically minded!
The Toyota wiring is far too comlex for seven use,bin it and make your own as I did or buy a basic aftermarket one as suggested,Good luck..
Also the Toyota diagrams in both Haynes and Toyota manuals both are not always correct to every loom in design and also colours for the same wires
differ from car to car,I have 3 looms for 4ages and they are all very different to each other.
