Good evening all,
I plan on using my MK as much as I can but with poor weather and work it may go stood for a couple of weeks at a time, maybe even a month so I
wouldn't mind getting a "quick" release trickle charger.
Any recommendations ?
Thanks in advance
I borrowed one from my boss about a year ago, it is working really well for me while my car is off the road (he still hasn't asked for it back!
) it is a halfrauds pack, basically
this
one but an older version.

What about one of them solar panel ones Maplin sell?
I fitted a cut off switch to the earth lead so if mine is getting laid up for a while I cut the earth lead and have a solar panel trickle charger hooked up, battery is always good to crank even after a few months.
If you have the cash, I'd recommend an Accumate...
CTEK have a quick Google, they come with a quick release connector as well as a set of crock clips.
They are capable of either maintenance charging or full charge on either lead acid or gel batteries.

I've had an optimate 4 for a few years now.
Originally got it for my bike, but use it on the Haynes now.
Feels nice and sturdy and always done what it's supposed to.
Keep a look out at Lidl's or Aldi the have them some times

Tells you the state of the battery and charges at various rates depending on the level of charge etc
