Battery Care
Greenie - 1/12/14 at 07:59 PM

Taking the car off the road fir the next few months over the winter period to get some work done on it, and if need to know how to look after my battery over this period, I have the usual charger but don't want to over cook it, if you know what I mean.

So what is recommended?

Battery conditioner is best bet.

Is it a car battery or bike battery

It's a car battery.....

Optimate battery optimisers are good. I've got one for my bike battery.

They do them for car batteries too.

My local Aldi still had a pile of smart chargers in stock last week, they won't overcharge, you could leave one on. 24/7 but 3 hrs or so once a month would be enough.
