hi is there any reason why you can not just have a switch on the dash for the indicators or dose it have to be on the column for the iva ?

Switch on the dash is perfectly acceptable (providing it meets the edge radius requirements)

Notnsure, does the iva say it needs to cancel when you turn??

Switch on the dash is fine. No requirement for self canceling either.
