I know this is probably a long shot but before I spend a tedious evening with a multimeter bleeping out my wiring, does anyone have the pin outs for
the Ford Puma 1.7 (VCT) engine loom main plug (connects to the injectors, sensors etc., large square multiway plug), really usefully Mr. Ford has used
all black wires on both sides of the plug !
Thanks in advance.
Just in case you aren't aware of it Pumapeople might help?
Cheers, Pewe10
I have one for the ecu that largely goes to the engine loom in Open Office (.ods) format but can be saved in exel or pdf format. PM your email address if you want it.
Many thanks for the replies, will try and post something on puma people and thanks for the offer ThePrisoner but I am hoping to use the OEM engine end
of the loom and connect it to an Omex 710 flying loom. I have chopped off the engine bay loom car side of the multiway connector but as previously
said all of the wires in this part of the loom are black (genius Mr. Ford). Looks like a night in with me, the loom and a bleeper !
I will have to do the same for my Escort Mk2 column stalks as well to splice into my Pemier Looms wiring, oh what fun I have.
I have the Ford (Technical Information system) TIS disc. It has the complete workshop manual including the electrical system. I guess a binary copy is possible not sure how (yet) ----I think you need two disc drives tho!
