Perfect timing I just tested this last night!

It is 3 ohms full and 109 ohms empty MK2.5 but identical to Mk2

That sounds too easy! I have an Acewell but only the basic one for RPM and speed so I'm stripping an MX5 dash for the fuel gauge - no idea how I am going to mount it though.
