A mate of mine from work has just brought these lights;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36799&item=4519441804&rd=1
There from a massy tractor and have all the e markings and stuff, but not sure on the beam pattern. Are there any give away markings on the lense that
I should look for, to indicate what side they should go on, and if they have the right footprint for car use?
cheers
Chris
Have you ever seen a tractor with working lights?
Massey Fergy no no you want JCB
both front and rear fitted on mine
fronts inc indicators too sorts sva out
good n proper! Those on ebay are well Knaff.Pop down to your local Lucas agent
n browse throo there catalogue.
theres some 'real' headlights listed under locost, chrome and £20 each. surely its worth the little extra to get chrome finish?
contery to the name not knowing anything about tractors. what voltage do they use ? is it 12v or 24v?
Tractors are generally 12v - so you can pinch stuff for the cars no problem
If it's 24v you can swap the bulbs, they use the same fitting systems usually.
The guy showed me the lights at work today, and your right, they do look a bit naff, plus don't have the bulbs. As for the £20 quid one's on
ebay, I remember seeing a thread that mentioned that they had no direction on them and were for a motor bike?? Dunno if that's true
though.......
Will be taking a trip down to lucas this avo I think.
As for seeing a tractor with working lights, nope, tend to be stuck behind doing 15mph around here, bloody farmers.
