Hi all,
My starter solenoid is brittle and it snapped whilst tightening.
I've replaced it with this one...

But it appears my original unit has the push on round wire plug like this one...

Can it be used?
My Striker has a feed from battery, a lead to starter, a spade end to SS and a push fit to SS.
Any help greatly received
Sorry, it would be easier to post actual pics but I'm terribly useless.
both links seem to be the same,
but solenoids of this type are very simple, electrically actuated switches, (relays!) so probably just change the connector
Apologies....this is the one I've received....

Am I correct in thinking that 3 wires are all linked to the positive... battery feed, ignition feed and switch feed and the other feed on the
solenoid goes to the starter motor?
battery to battery +
starter to starter
starter signal to ignition switch start position, the other one is ballast over ride if the car has points ignition and ballast resistor

Thanks for the advice, all.
I'll get my meter and identify the ignition switch feed and connect that to starter signal and put a spade connector on the wire which has the
push on connector and put that wire to power whilst starting connector on the solenoid and hopefully that will work.
I did try that yesterday but either the connection wasn't good enough or the battery wasn't charged enough.
