Trev Borg - 10/3/05 at 08:07 PM

Ok just bought a green gauges speedo off e-bay.

What do i need to get it work correctly?

Its gonna be fitted to to the alfa V6, with a type 9 box.

I assume i have to buy sensor kit from them. Which one.

Hello Trev, was just wondering, as i have pondered using v6 alfapower before, in kit cars, how do you get it to mate to a type 9 ford gearbox, what parts are needed to do it ,ie starter mtr flywheel clutch etc.would appreciate the info, also what vehicle ford vehicle does a type 9 gearbox come out of

Thanks Simon

Engine, starter = Alfa
Type 9 = ford sierra (long shaft fron V6 but either can fit)
clutch plate = mondeo / focus TD
bellhouse = homemade ( if i get enough interest, i will get some cast in alloy)

Cheap way of getting 200 BHP

Is it the electronic or mechanical one?

If you have a look on the Greengauges web site, they've a section on sensors.
