I have fitted the guages, but for some reason the rev counter is jumpy! Which connection should I use for a coil fed cavalier dizzy? Electronic ignition or contact breaker?

Also anyone calibrated and got working one of their EMTP sensors for the speedo?

If you've connected to the neg side of coil i'd try the red/blue wire
