fog lights?

What have people done about the fog light switch?

Does the SVA require a fog light switch "light" on the dash?

We have some small 5p size lights on the dash ( for the indicators, main bean , hand brake etc ) and we were wondering if anyone knew of a simular sized light/switch combo we could use for the fogs - kill two birds with 1 stone so to speak.

Yes the fog light switch has to have a light... Whether it's on the dash or on the switch.

Premier Wiring do a switch with LED built in. I've used them on mine

I presume your other warning lights are labelled up. Not sure if they will pass SVA if they are not

the brake warning light is.

Do we have to label up the left and right indicator lights, the main beam and the ignition light too?

not as far as i'm aware. i've seen plenty of cars come away from sva with only the brake level warning light marked

also afaik, none of the switches need to be marked either

a good and very common source for such illuminated switches is a Peugeot 205. They have foglight, hazard and heated screen switches with built in lights and they are single switches which are compact and easy to mount.

Westfield use them in the FW400 (maybe others too now but I have seen them in an FW400)

I am going to use them for my Foglamp and Hazard switches.
