It may help us if you let us know if the 2 black wires are the same thickness. Also is the light for the alternator charging or just to let you knoe the ign is on?

the light is just to know the ignition is on
its like this but mine has a light instead of the switch (theve changed the design) linkyhttp://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=420_421_544&products_id=3555

the black coming from the light is 2mm
the other wires are 3.5mm

im using a lucas based premier loom and blade loom as per dodgy rodger

Best guess at the moment is
Black 3.5 to battery positive

Yellow to starter solenoid terminal ( the one that pulls in the starter)

Green to feed the ign circuit

Black to earth
although i think it would be annoying for it to be lit at all times and think that its probably designed as an alternator warning light and should go to the alternator feild terminal (will depend on what alternator you've got.)

This is just my opinion and not based on anything other than my own reasoning. If your not sure or no one else backs me up I would investigate farther before connecting.
If you get no answers you could try this but put a temporary fuse holder in each of the wires so as not to cause any damage. 10 amps should be more than adequate for what this panel is doing.
