Looks good.
Where did you get the extruded alli box from that the MS is housed in?

rayward - 20/11/05 at 05:16 PM

Cheers,

Got the box from Maplin Electronics

did you build it yourself or buy it in?

How have you found it so far - medium term aim is to go megasquirt (short term is to get the car on the road - yr 5 already)

which version did you go for? v2 or v3, mega squirt'n'spark etc

rayward - 20/11/05 at 05:30 PM

Built it myself,, its a V2.2 with the MSn-S installed, its going on a Turbo'd Zetec eventually.

would deff have to make wich powersupply/res values..

Anyway looks good/fine..nice case!

Tks

Megasquirt can handle different resistance throttle position sensors - Ray has yet to calibrate this, hence the odd figure.

I've today upgraded the firmware in mine to the MSnS extra. LOTS of new features in this, including launch and traction control, etc. (Using a Xflow.. who am I kidding....) Should keep me busy for a week or two.

GeoffT,

The traction control may prove valuable for those slippery winter jaunts.

CairB - 20/11/05 at 07:40 PM

RayWard,

I find it useful to use a syringe to generate a vacuum on the MAP sensor.

GeoffT - 20/11/05 at 07:59 PM

Just make sure you wash that nasty white powder out first.

Nice work bet you were nervous first time you gave it 12volt :-)
