Hi, can anyone tell me whether the ford TPS needs to go through its entire range of travel to work with a megajolt? The way I'm planning on mounting it will not use the whole range of movement. Will this be a problem say for full throttle only being half way round the scale? Or is there some way of calibrating the megajolt to accomodate this?? Thanks. Oli.

deffenitly no problem that the tps pot
moves more per degree of throttle then normal.

In de calibration part of the system you can set it up..

You need to use as much of the scale as possible, but can adjust the throttle bin figures to suit within reason. Obviously you will lose some of the position resolution im not sure how it would affect driveabilty.Your best bet is to see how the figures look once connected .

Cool thanks guys, just wanted to establish the best way to fit it, going to go for some sort of contraption attached directly to the pedal as the carbs are gonna prove too difficult! Will let you all know how I get on......thanks. Oli.

on is the tps sensor not an active sensor..

its there for sensing great throttle changes...for an extra squirt of fuel..

also i gives info about WOT and idle....

the direcly engine affected sensors are the MAP sensor it has the biggest influence on the fuel/air mix...
