running a loom

Hi all
can you help, i know you should not run the electric loom along side fuel lines but how close is exceptable????I want a parallel run about 120mm apart along the transmision tunnel. Any comments.

I don't think there is anything specific in the SVA manual in this regards, but I can't seen any problem with that spacing. In fact I run both my fuel pipe and electrics down one side of the tunnel with about 6cm between them..... although my car hasn't been through the SVA yet.

All I could find in the SVA bible was that they should not share the same clips.
However most people recomend running them on opposite sides of the tranny tunnel.

And it would make safety sense to run the harness above the fuel lines (in case of leaks).
